We, as Facilitators, help a group of people to work together better, to understand their common goals, and plan how to achieve these objectives during meetings or discussions. In doing so, us Facilitators remain "neutral", meaning we do not take a particular position in the discussion. We leave it to the experts to make the decisions.
Far too often, meetings fall into the ratio category of 80:20 which is normally counter-productive for the majority involved and often doesn’t reach a shared outcome. This is where 80 percent of the talking is done by 20 percent of the people. If a company truly wants to get the best from their whole team, then we would encourage 100:100 approach.
